Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data floppyskill.com (“FloppySkill”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and who we share it with. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
- Order info you give us: your email address, optional name, and the items you buy. Your email + invoice number are what let you log back in and re-download.
- Payment info: we do not see or store your card details. Payment is handled by our merchant of record, ZM Solutions, and their processors (e.g. Stripe), who collect payment data under their own privacy policies.
- Usage data: basic analytics events (pages visited, checkout started, purchase completed) and technical data like IP address and browser type, so we can run and improve the Site.
2. Cookies & tracking
We use limited cookies/tracking to keep the Site working and to measure our advertising. This includes the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, which tells Meta when you visit or purchase so we can measure and improve our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of ad personalization through Meta’s ad settings.
3. Why we use your data
- to deliver your Products and give you access to your library;
- to send you your receipt and order-related emails;
- to run, secure, and improve the Site;
- to measure and improve our marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that make the store work:
- ZM Solutions + payment processors (e.g. Stripe) — to take payment;
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, and file storage;
- Resend — to send your order emails;
- Meta — advertising measurement (via the Pixel).
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We keep your order records so you can re-download your Products and for our own accounting. You can ask us to delete your personal data (see Section 7), subject to records we’re required to keep.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep it safe.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected] and we’ll respond.
8. Children
The Site isn’t directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Effective date” above shows the latest version.
